Germany increases migrant deportations as arrivals surge | Migration Crisis

Germany has increased the number of deportations from the country as a response to rocketing migration numbers.

In 2023, Germany received the most asylum seekers of any country in Europe, with more than 350,000 people arriving - the highest number since the peak of 2016.
