The Rafah crossing has opened from Gaza for the first time since the start of the war on October 7.
Just minutes before the crossing opened, UK Foreign Secretary James Cleverly said he expected “a first group of foreign nationals” to leave Gaza.
It has been reported that a number of wounded Palestinians are expected to be taken to Egypt for treatment while some foreign nationals will also be allowed to leave Gaza.
