Just minutes after the President of Gabon was declared the winner of the recent elections in the Central African country, members of the military declared that they'd seized control and annulled the poll.

President Ali Bongo, and before him his father, have led Gabon since 1967. The President called for people to 'make some noise' in his support, but so far the demonstrations on the street appear to be in support of the coup.
