प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने शनिवार को राष्ट्रीय राजधानी में जी20 शिखर सम्मेलन में विश्व नेताओं का स्वागत किया और महामारी के बाद 'वैश्विक विश्वास की कमी' के माहौल को विश्वास के रिश्ते में बदलने का आह्वान किया. जी20 नेताओं के शिखर सम्मेलन की शुरुआत में अपनी प्रारंभिक टिप्पणी में पीएम मोदी ने तालियों की गड़गड़ाहट के बीच जी20 समूह के स्थायी सदस्य के रूप में 55 सदस्य देशों के समूह अफ्रीकी संघ (एयू) का भी स्वागत किया.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday welcomed world leaders at the G20 summit in the national capital and called for changing the atmosphere of 'global trust deficit' into a relationship of trust after the pandemic. In his opening remarks at the start of the G20 leaders' summit, PM Modi also welcomed the African Union (AU), a grouping of 55 member countries, as a permanent member of the G20 grouping amid thunderous applause.
