The federal government is again appealing a court order to compensate Indigenous children who were forced into foster care.
But Ottawa also says it will work with Indigenous groups on reaching a deal by December.
The news is the latest development in a 14-year court battle and comes just one month after Canada’s first National Day of Truth and Reconciliation. Raquel Fletcher reports.
