Fox News has settled a defamation lawsuit from the voting machine company, Dominion, over its reporting of the 2020 presidential election.
The US network owned by Rupert Murdoch had falsely claimed that Dominion’s voting machines were used to rig the 2020 elect against Donald Trump.
In a last-minute settlement before trial, the network agreed to pay almost $800 million dollars to Dominion.
The deal means Fox executives including Rupert Murdoch will not have to testify in court.
