Donald Trump claims his hush money trial is 'rigged' and 'dishonest'

The historic trial of Donald Trump is under way following an arduous process of selecting a jury.

The former US president is charged with 34 counts of falsifying business documents as part of a hush money case involving porn star Stormy Daniels - he has pleaded not guilty.

Mr Trump describes the trial as "election interference at a level that nobody in this country has ever seen before".
