Former parliamentarians, humanitarian groups urge Ottawa to step up on Afghan resettlement efforts

'There is a real gap between the government's aspiration and the performance,' Allan Rock, former Canadian ambassador to the UN, told Power & Politics Tuesday of the federal government's efforts to resettle Afghan refugees. Rock joined former parliamentarians and humanitarian groups in calling on Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to do more to address outstanding issues with the refugee resettlement program.
