In response to the coup in Niger a month ago, the ECOWAS bloc of African states has imposed sanctions and that means provisions are getting scarce in the landlocked country. Tillabéri is a city on the Niger river, just 120 kilometers north of the capital Niamey. As our next report shows, residents there are feeling the effects of sanctions.
