Cars were swept away and people were left stranded on a gas station roof after flash floods caused by heavy rainfall struck Turkey's northern coast on Wednesday.
Video footage shared by a Sinop resident also showed at least one house collapsing into floodwaters in the Black Sea province.
Heavy rain caused a river to overflow in Kastamonu, some 70 km inland, dragging cars and debris downstream.
Turkey has also battled raging wildfires that burned tens of thousands of hectares of forest along its southern coast for the last two weeks.
