An exclusive Global News investigation has found that women rarely lead Canadian military police investigations into sexual misconduct claims.
There are 129 investigators working with the Canadian Forces National Investigation Service, the military police branch which primarily handles sexual misconduct allegations, but just 29 of those investigators are female — less than one-quarter of those on the team.
David Akin reports on the latest example of gender imbalance within the Canadian Armed Forces.
