Extreme weather is irreversibly altering parts of the world. In just the past 24 hours, parts of Canada have faced intense lightning, flooding and extreme heat.
Now parts of the northern hemisphere are seeing more dangerously high temperatures, with rising concerns about what impact it will have on people, including their health.
