EU energy ministers have agreed to cap natural gas prices after weeks of haggling over ways to rein in Europe's soaring energy prices. The EU's biggest economy Germany had previously blocked efforts to limit natural gas prices, fearing the move could disrupt supplies on global markets. Reports say the gas cap of 180€ per megawatt hour is set to come into effect in February.
