After initially refusing, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz is reportedly now agreeing to send Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine. Scholz had initially wanted to wait for the U.S. to take the first step in sending heavy armour.

The change of heart paves the way for other countries with German-made tanks to send them too.
