Epic dark comedy Beau Is Afraid is a surreal journey, if you can make it through

The first comedy from horror mastermind Ari Aster has divided our film reviewers. Eli Glasner appreciated the craft involved in creating what Aster calls a "sad nightmare comedy," giving it 3.5 stars. But Jackson Weaver thinks it's a two-star "excruciating watch."
