Boris Johnson has announced new Covid restrictions to control the spread of the Omicron variant in the UK. (Subscribe: https://bit.ly/C4_News_Subscribe)
From Monday, people are urged to work from home and it will become a legal requirement to wear a face mask in public indoor venues, including theatres and cinemas from this Friday.
A mandatory NHS Covid pass will also now be needed for entry into "nightclubs and venues where large crowds gather".
