Drought emergency: Wet autumn and winter needed to replenish reservoirs

Drought has been declared in eight areas of England. Sky's Jason Farrell looks at the multitude of effects the extreme weather has had so far.

Environment Secretary George Eustice says, "it's important that the water supply remains resilient and precautionary steps are being taken to ensure we take care of our water resources in case we get a dry winter."
