Donald Trump has testified briefly at a New York court as part of his defence in a defamation case brought by fashion writer E Jean Carroll.
Carroll is seeking $10m (£7.8m), saying comments Trump made about her in 2019 harmed her reputation and unleashed a torrent of death threats.
Trump denies any wrongdoing and says he never instructed anyone to harm her.
A judge has already ruled Trump's statements were defamatory and the jury will now decide how much Trump must pay in damages.
A jury in a previous civil fraud trial found Carroll was sexually abused by Trump in the 1990s.
