The US congressional committee investigating last year's Capitol riot has voted to subpoena former President Donald Trump to testify in the inquiry.
Rioters stormed the US Capitol in Washington DC on 6 January 2021 in an effort to overturn the president's election defeat by Joe Biden.
The committee panel, made up of seven Democrats and two Republicans, voted unanimously for Mr Trump to testify under oath in connection with the riots.
If he does not comply, he could face criminal charges and imprisonment.
