Diane Abbott: Keir Starmer being 'pushed around' by Angela Rayner, minister claims

Business minister Kevin Hollinrake claims Sir Keir Starmer is being "pushed around" by Angela Rayner for allowing Diane Abbott to stand as a Labour candidate.

The Tory candidate adds that being prime minister "is probably one of the most high-pressure jobs in this country, and probably one of the most high-pressure in the world".

He asked "how will [Starmer] cope when he is on the world stage with all the pressure that brings?".
