Protesters purportedly launched fireworks at law enforcement in Brooklyn Center, Minn. on Monday as clashes between police and demonstrators took place for a second night in the wake of the death of Black man Daunte Wright.

Police at one point used tear gas and flash bang canisters outside the police station where hundreds had gathered to protest Wright's death that occurred Sunday during a traffic stop. According to reports, at about 7:45 p.m. local time a dispersal order was issued, with a second issued 15 minutes later and a third shortly after that amid a curfew that took effect at 7 p.m.

The officer who shot Wright has been placed on administrative leave.

The Hennepin County medical examiner concluded Monday that the death was a homicide.
