Cars and roads were submerged in heavy floodwaters in Al Khaboura, Oman, on Monday, after Cyclone Shaheen battered the country, killing at least 11 people since it made landfall on Sunday.
Shaheen was downgraded to a tropical storm after it cleared the ocean, with the civil aviation authority warning on Monday that scattered rainfall was still expected.
