The focus Canadians had over the increase of COVID-19 cases is now shifting to the rise in vaccinations, but the rush to get a shot is leading to confusion.

At least one provider of vaccinations has been asking people to register online, but people were left asking why the company in question required them to agree to personal information being used for marketing purposes, raising eyebrows on a requirement for a free vaccine.

Other concerns are also rising over scams, including one by phone in Newfoundland and Labrador that asked residents to pay for their COVID-19 pre-registration and vaccination.
