The United States continues to sink deeper into its fourth wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. Nationwide infections have reached a six-month high, while almost every state is now in the "red zone," meaning the level of community transmission of the virus is now at its highest.

Canada is preparing to open its doors to vaccinated tourists south of the border despite the rising cases. However, other countries are taking notice of the COVID-19 resurgence, prompting them to rethink easing travel restrictions for Americans. Reggie Cecchini reports.
