MPs have voted to renew emergency COVID powers for another six months.

35 Conservatives voted against the Government, some arguing that the legislation is 'draconian' and 'disproportionate'.

The Prime Minister argued for caution and insisted that he would not speed up his timetable for lifting lockdown restrictions.
