As Omicron cases skyrocket and trigger tightening restrictions, travelling during the holidays will become more complicated.

Health officials have mainly sounded the alarm over international travel, with stern warnings to avoid leaving the country, citing possible changes to travel rules, re-entry, and the complications of contracting COVID abroad.

But there have also been new complications when it comes to stricter measures for inter-provincial travel. Jamie Mauracher looks at how protocols compare among some provinces.
