With many of its residents infected with COVID-19, the remote Bearskin Lake First Nation needs help, but it's not getting what it wants from the federal government.
The First Nation is about 600 kilometres north of Thunder Bay. Nearly half of its 400 residents, including the band's chief, tested positive for COVID-19 last week.
Despite asking for military assistance from Ottawa to manage the outbreak, the community says it still has not received it.
As David Akin reports, its neighbours are now pitching in to help.
