COVID-19 Inquiry: Lockdown a 'very radical thing to do'

Sir Chris Whitty has called the Covid lockdowns "radical", as he and Sir Patrick Vallance gave evidence at the inquiry into the pandemic.

The pair were asked about the early stages of the outbreak, and if it could have been dealt with in a better way.
