COVID-19: Could the pandemic complicate Canada's cruise industry comeback?

The MS Koningsdam cruised into Canada’s largest port on Sunday, bringing with it hope for the renewal of the country’s beleaguered cruise industry.

It’s the first ship in nearly 900 days to arrive at The Port of Vancouver, which is expecting about 300 cruise ships to dock in the city over the summer season.

The cruise industry was hit hard at the start of the pandemic and while there are high hopes for its revival, COVID-19 could complicate the industry’s comeback. Catherine Urquhart explains.
