Cost of Living: Families hit hard as baby formula increases in price by 25%

Sarah Cardell of the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) says the price of baby formula has increased by around 25% in two years.

She told Ian King that unlike other products, with the baby formula market there is "very limited availability" of cheaper, own-brand alternatives due to a lack of competition.

The CMA has been examining 10 product categories in an attempt to see if shoppers, already struggling amid the continuing cost of living crisis, are being ripped off.
