Boris Johnson says that he will get the country through the "big challenges" of the "post COVID aftershocks" as well as the cost of living.

The Prime Minister was speaking during a trip to Powys in Wales, marking his first public appearance since the conclusion of the Met's partygate investigation.

He said prices would come down again and the Conservatives would fix "underlying problems" facing the country, including the cost of living and the energy crisis.
