With Canada receiving its first shipment of the newly-approved Moderna's COVID-19 vaccine, questions are rising on how to best administer the vaccine doses.
Some Canadian provinces including British Columbia decided to administer all the currently available doses of the Pfizer vaccine and not to hold back on half of them for the second dose, while other provinces like Ontario took a different approach.
As more variants of the virus are discovered in the U.K., South Africa and Nigeria, experts weigh on whether the best approach is to administer all or half of the doses.
