This coming week, Britain will start its first round of COVID-19 vaccinations of its citizens. It’s a major logistical and life-saving initiative. The United Kingdom is preparing for mass inoculations with the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine, after it was authorized for emergency use in the country on Wednesday. The vaccines are made in Belgium and the first batches have arrived in the U.K. via the Eurotunnel. Our Europe bureau chief Crystal Goomansingh has more on what happens next.
