More restrictions on Winnipeg’s bars, restaurants and movie theatres came into effect on Monday as the province reported 241 new COVID-19 cases and five deaths.
Those businesses are now required to close for two weeks, and the province is considering imposing a curfew.
Winnipeg has been moved to the critical level red on the province's pandemic response system, while the rest of the regions are now at the restricted level orange.
