Alberta's situation during the COVID-19 pandemic continues to become more dire, with 1,828 new cases on Friday, the second day in a row the number has passed 1,800. There were also 533 total patients in hospital dealing with COVID-19, with 99 in intensive care.
Despite this, Premier Jason Kenney has not budged on putting in place stricter measures to contain the coronavirus and if any changes take place, the premier said it will likely be geographically focused.
As exhaustion sets in at hospitals and in several business sectors, people are questioning the political decisions that have been made. Heather Yourex-West reports.
