Coronavirus: 2 more COVID-19 vaccine candidates release promising results

Health Canada is reviewing AstraZeneca and Oxford University's COVID-19 vaccine for possible use in the country. The review process comes as Johnson & Johnson's product, which is just over 60 per cent effective and requires only one dose, could also soon be used in Canada.

As the country faces vaccine shortages from both Pfizer and Moderna, health experts say the possibility of two more vaccines could help with getting more doess to the public.
