British pharmaceutical giant AstraZeneca says its vaccine is showing promising results in protecting those groups that are most at risk from the new coronavirus.
Being developed in collaboration with the University of Oxford, the vaccine shows a strong immune response in those aged above 70 in its Phase 2 trials.
The positive news on the vaccine front comes as cases continue to rise.
