In an interview with Sky News, Germany's climate envoy Jennifer Morgan admitted Germany was "vulnerable" to the energy crisis and had "learned the hard way" to reduce fossil fuel dependency.

This comes after footage of German riot police in Lutzerath clashing with protesters against the nearby Garzweiler lignite mine made headlines worldwide.
