China is warning bilateral cooperation with the US may be harmed after Washington announced a diplomatic boycott of next year's Winter Olympics in Beijing.
American government officials will not attend the event because of what they call human rights "atrocities" and "genocide".
Beijing responded that the US move violated the principle of the political neutrality of sports said it would follow with countermeasures, but has released the details of what those might be.
