China covid-19 restrictions: Protests turn violent in Guangzhou

Two major cities in China - Guangzhou and Chongqing - have eased COVID-19 restrictions.
It comes a day after violent protests - as frustration mounts against the government's strict zero-COVID policy.
Authorities have blamed the unrest on so-called ‘hostile forces’ and have threatened to clamp down on any activities that disrupt social order.
