Children are always the worst affected in any conflict. They are the most dependent on things they cannot control. In Ukraine, two years of war have taken their toll on children. Even if they haven’t been caught up in the violence directly, many have been separated from home, family and friends. The stress and chaos is causing a mental health crisis.

DW’s Aya Ibrahim met meet children in Kyiv using art therapy to start to regain purpose and control over their lives.
