For most Canadians, the deadline to both pay and send in your 2020 tax return is Friday, April 30.

Complicating tax returns this year, is a tax credit for those who have been working from home during the pandemic and other government benefits to help Canadians during the coronavirus pandemic, such as the Canada Emergency Response Benefit (CERB).

Those who have received a benefit this year may find themselves owing money.
