The deadline is now less than a week away for hundreds of thousands of small businesses to repay a federal loan.

The Canadian Emergency Business Account (CEBA) offered businesses tens of thousands of dollars to help with the impact of COVID shutdowns.

But as the payback deadline looms, thousands are now turning to the world of independent online lenders for last-minute help.
