As the funeral for Prince Philip took place at Windsor Castle Saturday morning, Canada held its own virtual ceremonies to honour the royal.
Prime minister Justin Trudeau virtually attended an Ottawa ceremony, and called the late Prince Philip “a great friend” to Canada and a “patron of the Canadian Armed Forces.”
