California wildfires: Firefighters working to contain multiple growing conflagrations

Firefighters in the Golden State continued to be challenged by multiple dangerous wildfires as dry conditions continue to pose a challenge for getting wildfires under control.

The Caldor Fire in California had burned over 126,000 acres and was at 11 percent containment on August 25, officials said, as crews continued to fight the fast-moving blaze.

According to local fire authorities, 632 structures had been destroyed and 34 others were damaged by the blaze.

The National Weather Service reported on Monday that residents in the Reno and Sparks, Nevada, areas were experiencing record-setting poor air quality because of wildfire smoke.

But the Caldor Fire isn't the only one confronting the state's firefighters and emergency officials. Ross Hull reports.
