Pele, the legendary Brazilian football player who rose from barefoot poverty to become one of the greatest and best-known athletes in modern history, has died at the age of 82.

Brazil's government has declared three days of mourning following Pele's death.

Tributes are pouring in from around the world for the 82-year-old who died after a long battle with cancer. He's been described as the eternal king and the most divine of footballers.
