Gordon Brown tells Politics Hub With Sophy Ridge that Suella Braverman's migration policy is "completely wrong".

It comes after her speech yesterday calling for reform of global refugee conventions due to the "threat" of "uncontrolled migration".

His view is that "you've got to have a policy to help those people who, if they think they're going to be better off poor in a rich country, then rich in a poor country, then the pressures for migration will grow".

He calls for the UK to support continents like Africa with economic development as a key solution to the problem.
