People lined up outside of stores across Canada and the United States as Black Friday took place Nov. 27, kicking off the holiday shopping season amid the novel coronavirus pandemic.
While many authorities urges consumers to start shopping earlier this year or to shop online given the spread of COVID-19, people still flocked to brick-and-mortar stores for those Black Friday deals.
Many gamers were also willing to brave hours-long lines for the "highly coveted" PlayStation 5, which has been in high demand since its Nov. 12 release.
