U.S. president-elect Joe Biden received his second COVID-19 vaccine on Monday and responded to questions about his planned vaccine rollout and upcoming inauguration.

Biden said he was confident in his vaccine team to accomplish his ambitious rollout plan of the COVID-19 vaccine, stating his number one priority was to get vaccines in people's arms "as rapidly as we can."

The president-elect also said he was not afraid of taking his oath of office outside given the riot that occurred last Wednesday at the Capitol, stressing the important thing was to ensure those involved are held accountable.

Asked about impeachment causing potential delays to passing COVID-19 relief in the senate should a trial take place, he said he's discussing with the chamber whether they could potentially do a half-day dealing with impeachment and the other half dealing with regular business such as confirming cabinet nominees and legislation.
