Karman Grewal, a 28-year-old gang member known to police, was fatally shot by armed suspects in broad daylight at the Vancouver International Airport on Sunday. The brazen attack is believed to be a targeted retaliation over the death of another gangster.

The incident is the latest in a string of shootings and violence around the Metro Vancouver area over the last two weeks, as a gang war between several criminal organizations continues to escalate.
